Elis Played with the Mexican
Junior National team in 1992
She came to the US as a Junior as an exchange student and played for Napa HS in 1993 and
1994
She was recruited by WSU as an OH and played from 94 through 97 - making it to all NCAA tournaments,
94 - 1st round, 95 second round, 96 elite eight and 97 sweet sixteen.
She then played
in the World University Games in 1997 in Sicily, Italy with the Mexican National Team
She graduated from WSU in 1998
in Marketing and International Business
She then moved on to coaching with Palouse Jrs. from 1998 through 2000.
She received her MBA from WSU in 2000
She has been
married for 6 years and is raising her two kids, Isabela 2 1/2 and Logan 14 months.
